Our Parish Office is closed to foot traffic until further notice.
However, someone will be in our office from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to
Friday to answer phone calls and to assist parishioners with their needs
and questions. As always, in case there is a real emergency situation
requiring the assistance and presence of a priest, you are to dial the
emergency number (215-962-3980), and somebody will respond to you as
quickly as possible.
We would like to reach out to all our Adorers regarding the Coronavirus and Social Distancing for the Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Due to the current situation, and the size of the Adoration Chapel, Monsignor has been decided to have adoration only at the main church. This will allow for people to spread out at a safe distance without the threat of catching the virus or carrying it to others.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed at the Church only from 7 AM until 9 PM, daily. The Adoration chapel will be closed until further notice. As previously reported to you, if the Church is needed for a Funeral, the Blessed Sacrament will be in the lower Chapel of the Church, and then returned after the funeral.
All are welcome to come to the church between these hours and pray. During this time of uncertainty, prayers are needed, so if you have an hour schedule outside of the church hours, and can come to church between 7AM to 9PM, please stop in and help the ministry pray for resolution to this pandemic.
Following Governor Wolf’s directive of doing everything possible to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the office of St. Bede the Venerable Parish will be closed to visitors effective March 16, 2020, until further notice.
Telephone calls will be continually monitored throughout the day Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm, and someone will get back to you to address your concerns or accommodate your needs.
If there is a TRUE MEDICAL EMERGENCY THAT NEEDS THE ATTENTION OF A PRIEST, please utilize our emergency phone number: 215-962-3980.
I hope you can understand my desire to protect our staff and at the same time, accommodate your needs.
Let us all pray to Mary the Mother of prompt help to intercede to God for a quick end to this current crisis.
