Pave the Way Reaches the Next Step

This week, work finally began on our new paving project! The “milling” process (the removal of old and damaged paving surface, preparing the lot for the new paving material) has been completed. The new paving process should begin next week, weather permitting.

While the parking lot will be open this weekend for all Masses, please note that there are some obvious, temporary changes. The lot will be rougher, and there will be no parking lines. Also, since the lot is now lower, the curbs to our pavements are a bit higher. It is important that you WATCH YOUR STEP when walking and accessing the pavements. Our paving contractor has marked the curb accesses in ORANGE as a caution warning. PLEASE BE CAREFUL when walking in the lot and accessing the pavements.

Again, this is a temporary situation, which should be resolved in (hopefully) a couple of weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
